This is a role that has a lot of variety, but will be very rewarding enabling you to work with residents and local communities to make a real difference. You will provide a range of administrative support to the Independent Living team, including the raising and processing of purchase orders and invoices, collating and recording satisfaction surveys, ordering of supplies for the Sheltered Housing schemes, responding to a range of queries from staff and residents regarding the service and maintaining a range of information sources to support service delivery.

We are looking for an individual with excellent administrative and customer service skills. It is essential that you have an excellent working knowledge of MS products with an eye for detail. The ability to deal with conflicting demands and priorities is also key in this role. The council have developed a ‘One Team’ approach to working and this relies on each and every person working collaboratively to deliver shared goals. To be a positive influence on this environment, you’ll need to be able to support others and be a genuine team player.
